    What is OPMAS?

    OPMAS stands for Ozark Painters, Makers & Shakers — a bold new celebration of creativity rooted in the hills and hollers of Newton County, Arkansas.Born from a desire to showcase the incredible talent woven through our community, OPMAS is part art crawl, part homecoming, part handmade revolution.Whether passed down for generations, sparked by necessity, or newly arrived in the Ozarks with fire in their hands, the artists and makers of our region create with heart, soul, and grit. This event is our invitation to see that creativity up close — to wander, to connect, to be inspired.OPMAS is a 2-day event hosted by the Newton County Chamber of Commerce, bringing painters, potters, woodworkers, jewelers, and dreamers together to share their gifts with neighbors and visitors alike.It’s more than an art show — it’s a celebration of place and purpose.
